A renovated sheepfold with character. The House retains the charm of old stones and the “rural Provence” spirit. Located 7 km from Digne les Bains, in the countryside, the place benefits from an unsuspected panorama of the valley.  The property extends over 20 hectares on the mountainside. Full sun or shaded terraces which communicate with each other via paved paths, a secure and private swimming pool, a pétanque court, outdoor games for children, a barbecue.

 

 

The Grand Paris provides, for one to four people, two double rooms (one with a double bed located on a mezzanine adjoining a television lounge and reading armchairs, the second with two beds on one level opening onto a sunny terrace) a bathroom walk-in shower. An equipped kitchen, open to a large living room with bay window opening onto a shaded terrace, a piano for amateurs. 

The ideal place for a vacation, a quiet break or a moment of relaxation...

The mountainous surroundings are ideal for observing local wildlife, it is also the start of numerous possibilities for walks, bike or car rides, Provençal markets nearby, Verdon Gorges and lavender fields less than 50 km away and Digne cultural heritage. 

July: 4 people €1,250/week up to two people €1,050/week (7 nights) 

August: 4 people €1,250 / week up to two people €1,050 / week (7 nights) 

June and September: 4 people €950/week up to two people €750/week. 

Contact us for other times of the year October-November-December-January-February-March-April: nightly rental (minimum 2 nights)

 

Cancellation conditions

Article 1 – Duration of stay:


The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.


Article 2 – Conclusion of the contract:


The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent the owner the deposit of 40% of the total price of the stay. Prices are inclusive of all charges, excluding tourist tax.


Article 3 – Cancellation by the customer:


Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner.
• If the cancellation occurs less than one month (30 days) before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner
• If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the start of the stay, the total amount of the stay remains with the owner.
• In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains in full with the owner. Additional services not consumed will be refunded.


Article 4 – Cancellation by the owner:


When, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels the stay, he must inform the customer by email. The customer, without prejudging any recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid.


Article 5 – Arrival/Departure:


The customer must arrive on the day specified in the contract and inform the owner of their approximate time of arrival between 4 and 7 p.m. the day before their arrival. No arrival will be possible after 8 p.m. In the event of delayed arrival, if the owner cannot receive you due to this delay, he cannot be held responsible.
Departure times are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the day indicated on the rental contract. Under no circumstances can it be extended, except with the prior written consent of the owner.


Article 6 – Payment of the balance:


The balance is due on the date indicated on the rental contract. Additional consumption and services not mentioned in the contract will be payable to the owner at the end of the stay.


Article 7 – Tourist Tax:


The tourist tax (2.64€ / day / person over 18 years old) is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then pays it to the public treasury.


Article 8 – Use of the premises:


The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. He undertakes to return the rooms in good condition.


Article 9 – Capacity:


This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse additional customers.
This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.


Article 10 – Animals:


The rental contract specifies that the customer can stay in the company of a pet. This must be mentioned before signing the contract. A supplement may be requested for the presence of a pet. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the owner may refuse the animals.
This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the customer's departure, no reimbursement can be considered.


Article 11 – WIFI:


A connection is available in the House for free. 
In the event of a malfunction of the WIFI connection, the customer cannot hold the owner responsible. 
The customer is responsible for any illegal downloading, recording, or connection.


Article 12 – Accepted means of payment:


• • Bank or postal check, payable to Grand Paris (French accounts only).
• • Bank card: Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa.

Article 13 – Dispute:


If the complaint relates to the inventory of fixtures or the descriptive condition of the rental, it must then be made, in writing, within 24 hours of arrival. The owner and tenant must encourage amicable settlement. For other disputes, the tenant can contact, without time limit, a representative body.
